The programme will be launched on 18th July, offering daily sessions for five consecutive weeks, starting at the Dubai Cyber Innovation Park in Business Bay.
A series of training modules in cybersecurity will be held, allowing participants to enhance their skills and ability to effectively and quickly address practical cyber skills required in the job field. Bootcamp participants will also experience scenarios that simulate reality and offer participants a comprehensive and intensive training experience.
Dr Bushra Al Blooshi, Deputy Director of the Information Services Department at DESC, said, "Dubai Cyber Innovation Park and the training programmes it offers play a critical role towards promoting knowledge and building expertise among new employees and fresh graduates in the field of cybersecurity. This bootcamp provides an opportunity for the trainees to develop their cyber capabilities and skills, and we look forward to enabling and empowering them to assume leading positions in this field in both the public and private sectors."
The bootcamp will cover several key topics, from introducing the participants to cyber and network security processes, to evaluating common vulnerabilities in web applications that may lead to cyberattacks.
The programme also outlines ways for trainees to gain a clearer view of security challenges in cloud environments and understand the requirements for securing them.
