ALGIERS -- An Algerian military helicopter crashed on Monday in the northern province of Ain Defla, some 150 km southwest of the capital Algiers, killing all three crew members on board, state-run ENTV reported.
The MI-171 helicopter of the Algerian Air Force crashed in the locality of El Attaf during a training operation, according to a statement of the defense ministry quoted by ENTV. (Algeria-Helicopter Crash-Casualties)

NEW DELHI -- Four people were killed and at least six others injured after a crane crashed during a temple festival in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, officials said Monday.
The crane collapsed Sunday night at Draupathi temple in Ranipet district, 85 km west of Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. (India-Crane-Crash)

DAR ES SALAAM -- The Tanzanian police said Monday that they have killed two suspected bandits armed with two hand grenades and an AK-47 with 25 rounds of ammunition in the country's northwestern region of Kagera.
Kagera Regional Police Commander William Mwampaghale said the two armed suspected bandits were killed Saturday night along the Kumunazi-Relenge road in Ngara District. (Tanzania-Security-Bandits)

YAOUNDE -- A Cameroonian investigative journalist was found dead early Sunday after he "mysteriously disappeared" six days ago, according to the association of online press publishers and electronic services in Cameroon (GEPLS).
Martinez Zogo, radio presenter and manager of Radio Amplitude FM, a private radio station broadcasting in the capital, Yaounde, was abducted on Tuesday by armed men and later found dead in a remote neighborhood of Yaounde, the GEPLS said in a statement. (Cameroon-Journalist-Murder)
